Who We Are
We are a family-run private and mobile zoo, nestled outside the quiet town of Shillelagh, County Wicklow. We bring the animals to you and cater to all occasions whether it’s a birthday party, communion or christening. We also have our outreach program to cater for club and school events.
The Animals
Every animal has their own story – some are rescues, some were born here, and many were part of a private collection that we have recently decided to share with the public via our mobile zoo. We also hope to open our grounds in the near future.
Handling The Animals
The best part of the zoo has to be our opportunity to teach you about our animals first hand, with visual interaction and presentations. If you’re brave enough, you can even hold one! This allows participants to interact with our animals in a safe and controlled manner. This will include educational presentation on each animal present, safe handling methods, behavioural signs and conservation awareness.
Party Ideas
We have over thirty species of animals, from a striped skunk, barn owls and emus to pythons, monitor lizards and tarantulas. We will bring our creepy crawlies, furry and feathered friends, our scaly lizards and slithering snakes for everyone to handle, children and adults alike. The number and type of animals that arrive depends on the behaviour of the animal on the day (just like us, sometimes they prefer to stay at home) but there is still fun to be had for all ages.
We work to a time slot to suit you and the number of guests you have. We require a small deposit to secure your booking (non-refundable) through PayPal, and remaining payment made on the day.
